Musa (AS) led Bani Isra’il to the sacred land, but they refused to fight the occupying Amalekites due to cowardice and disobedience. Despite Allah’s promises, they told Musa (AS) to fight alone with his Lord. As a result, Allah barred them from entering the land for 40 years, during which they aimlessly wandered the desert. Despite their punishment, Allah still provided them with food (manna), shade (clouds), and water (springs). Both Harun (AS) and Musa (AS) passed away near Bayt Al-Maqdis.
